ON THE LIST OF INGREDIENTS

VITAMIN A: (Palmitate/Beta Carotene)
This nutrient is one of the most important antioxidants and free radical 'hunters' which have been found to strengthen the immune system, destroy carcinogens (cancer-causing substances), and guard against heart disease and stroke and lower cholesterol levels. The body converts Beta-Carotene to vitamin A, which is necessary for healthy skin and mucous membranes (the body's first line of defense against invading micro-organisms). Beta-Carotene is an orange plant pigment; 2 vitamin A molecules hooked tail to tail. While too much vitamin A can be toxic, beta carotene is non-toxic. The body stores carotene, and makes vitamin A from it only as it needs vitamin A.
This versatile nutrient is important for preventing eye disorders (such as night blindness), and skin disorders (such as acne). It has been found to enhance immunity, protect against environmental damage, heal gastrointestinal disorders, form healthy bones and teeth, and even fight cancer

Vitamin C: (Ascorbic Acid)
Is an antioxidant and is a powerful oxidizer and when given in massive amounts; that is, 50 grams to 150 grams, intravenously, for certain pathological conditions, and "run in" as fast as 20 Gauge needle will allow, it acts as a "Flash Oxidizer," often correcting the pathology within minutes. Ascorbic acid is also a powerful reducing agent. Its neutralizing action on certain toxins, exotoxins, virus infections, endotoxins and histamine is in direct proportion to the amount of the lethal factor involved and the amount of ascorbic acid given. At times it is necessary to use ascorbic acid intramuscularly. It should always be used orally, when possible, along with the needle.

Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)
As with the other B vitamins, Vitamin B2 is commonly deficient, both because of low dietary intake & lifestyle factors that deplete it, such as cigarette smoking, alcohol, sugar.
Foods highest in Vitamin B2 are liver, yeast, dairy, beans, nuts, avocados, & vegetables. Human requirements are proportional to energy expenditure.
The primary functions of Vitamin B2 are:
• As a co-enzyme in the energy producing function of your cells.
• Maintenance of the external tissue of the eyes, lips, skin.
• Fetal development.
Vitamin B2 needs to be particularly supplemented with:
• Pregnancy
• Breast feeding
• Liver malfunctions
• High energy expenditure - in sports or work
• Antibiotic treatment
• Fevers
• Hyperthyroidism

Vitamin B3 (Niacin amide)
Niacin amide is the amide form of nicotinic acid (Niacin). It is often used interchangeably with niacin. Some prefer it because it does not create a flush as does niacin.
Niacin's major functions are:
• As a co-enzyme in carbohydrate & lipid metabolism & oxygen utilization.
• Critical to energy production.
• Important for the health of the brain, skin, & digestive organs.
• Maintains manufacture of hormones, proteins, & lipids.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride)
It is an essential vitamin to aid in the formation of healthy red blood cells and supports more vital bodily functions than any other vitamin. A water-soluble vitamin, Vitamin B6 is needed to release energy from the food we eat. Since it cannot be stored in the body, it must be obtained daily from either food or supplements.

Folic Acid
Folic acid (folinic acid, folacin, pteroylglutamic acid) is essential for the synthesis of adenine and thymine, two of the four nucleic acids that make up our genes, DNA and chromosomes. It is also required for the proper metabolism of the essential amino acid methionine that is found primarily in animal proteins. A folic acid deficiency has been clearly linked to an elevated level of homocysteine, a sulfur-containing amino acid. High homocysteine levels, in turn, have been linked to cardiovascular disease and a host of other undesirable conditions.

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin)
B-12 is a concern of many vegetarians because only negligible amounts of true B-12 are found in plant life. B-12 is made by bacteria in the soil and it can be synthesized by bacteria within the body. There are bacteria in the small intestine of the human body that can make B-12, but our research shows that intestinal flora is not a sufficient source for everyone. Many claim that plant foods contain B-12, but they contain almost exclusively analogues of B-12, which interfere with the body's metabolism of true cobalamin. This seems to be especially true with sea vegetation such as chlorella, spirulina, blue-green algae, nori, and dulse. (An analogue appears to be the real thing, but it is not, and it masks a deficiency.) It is not safe to rely on marine plant life or soy products for vitamin B-12.

Biotin
Biotin is a water soluble vitamin which can be depleted by stress. It is essential in the conversion of carbohydrates to energy & plays a major role in fat & protein metabolism for building healthy tissue.
Biotin works synergistically with insulin to lower blood sugar levels in diabetics especially at higher doses of 10-20 mg.
Biotin is involved in multiple biochemical reactions in your body as an enzymatic cofactor & works synergistically with some of the B complex vitamins & zinc.
Biotin needs are increased with:
• Toxic or irritable bowel conditions.
• Gastrointestinal malabsorption.
• With antibiotics or antacids which upset the normal intestinal microbes.
• With pregnancy & lactation.
• Advancing age.
• Stress.
• Carbohydrate tolerance problems.
• Periods involving extensive tissue repair.

Vitamin B5: ( Pantothenic Acid)
The major function of pantothenic acid (VITAMIN B5) is to serve as part of co-enzyme A, which is at the center of energy metabolism, as well as fat, acetylcholine, & antibody synthesis.
It helps to protect against stress & works synergistically with other B vitamins to prevent other B vitamin deficiency diseases. Special conditions requiring supplementation are: stress, aging, arthritis, illness, malabsorption, weakness, depression, burning foot syndrome, & streptomycin toxicity.

Quercetin
A member of the flavonoid group found in fruits, vegetables, & tea, Quercitin inhibits the release of histamine & other inflammatory mediators. It decreases the inflammatory response in the mast cells of the nose & mouth & all mucous membranes.
Useful for:
• Antiallergenic, antihistaminic, anti-asthmatic, anti-inflammatory properties.
• Thus helpful in relieving the discomforts of allergic disorders.
• May have some anti-viral activity.
• Is a potent inhibitor of mast cell degranulation which is believed to be a major factor in the tissue destruction of rheumatoid arthritis & therefore may help with RA.
• Varicose veins.
• Capillary fragility & spontaneous bruising.
• Thrombophlebitis.
• Edema.
• Raynaud's disease.

PABA (Para Aminobenzoic Acid)
PABA is used to improve the protein used in the body, it relates to red blood cell formation as well as assisting the manufacture of folic acid in the intestines. Para-amino benzoic acid is used in sunscreen preparations since it can help protect the skin against ultra-violet radiation.
It has been linked to hair growth as well as reversing the graying of hair, but these results are disappointing. People suffering from vitiligo, over-pigmentation of skin, or without pigment in some spots, have reported an improvement of the skin after more PABA was ingested.
PABA also assists with breaking down of protein, the formation of red blood cells and maintaining intestinal flora.

Choline (Bitartrate)
A pseudo-vitamin involved in the metabolism of fats and in nerve function, and found in lecithin (phosphatidyl choline).
Choline also aids in hormone production.
High blood levels of choline have been shown to protect against age-associated mental decline by boosting acetylcholine levels in the brain.

Inositol
Inositol is an accessory food factor manufactured in your body. Good external sources are cantaloupe, grapefruit, oranges, limes, stone ground whole wheat bread, cooked beans & green beans. It functions in the metabolism of fats.
May be useful for:
• Helping with sleep problems, especially inability to fall back asleep after middle of night awakening.
• Promotes healthy hair by thickening thin hair.
• Can exert a calming tranquilizing effect in anxiety.
• Preventing fatty infiltration of the liver by working in conjunction with other nutrients to stimulate normal liver management of fats.

Calcium (Lactate/Gluconate)
Maintaining strong teeth and bones is essential for the prevention of osteoporosis, a progressive bone disease that just about everyone faces as they grow older. Getting enough calcium throughout life greatly reduces the risks of developing this condition — and can also help maintain healthy gums, a regular heartbeat, and proper nerve transmission. In addition, calcium lowers blood cholesterol, prevents heart disease, and is essential for muscle growth.
Substances which serve as mechanisms to stabilize pH are called buffers. Buffers have the capacity to bond ions and remove them from solution whenever their concentration begins to rise. Conversely, buffers can release ions whenever their concentration begins to fall. Buffers thus help to minimize the fluctuations in pH. This is an important function because many biochemical reactions normally occurring in living organisms either release or use up ions. Calcium is the body's main buffer. This is why there is a calcium crisis in health. Low pH = High Acidosis = Lower Oxygen = More Calcium Loss to buffer the acidosis.

Iron (Ferrous Phosphate)
A mineral essential to the formation of hemoglobin and myoglobin (which carries oxygen in the blood and muscles, respectively). A part of several proteins and enzymes in the body.

Magnesium (Gluconate)
Magnesium is an important mineral for healthy bones and teeth, and is involved in proper nerve and muscle functioning, as well as regulating blood pressure. Magnesium may help prevent dizziness, depression, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), insomnia, and muscle weakness and twitching. This mineral is also important in aiding the enzymes involved in energy production. Magnesium deficiency is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular disease in the Western world.

Zinc (Gluconate)
Zinc plays a role inside the human body as a vital trace element essential for digestion, reproduction and kidney function. Over 200 enzymes in the human body are known to need zinc. It is also noted for its ability to blend with other metals and is often used as an alloying agent.
The effects of zinc are so dramatic that some people have gone as far as to call it "the cure for the common cold". Research has supported the claims that zinc really can fight colds. Zinc is a cofactor for many enzymes required for healing damaged skin.
Helps to reduce the prolactin levels in your body & thus secondarily inhibits DHT. Prostate enlargement is a common symptom of zinc deficiency & zinc deficiency is common among American men. Zinc may also play a role in the prevention of prostate cancer.

Copper (Gluconate)
Essential for healing, energy production, healthy nerves and joints, and hair and skin coloring, copper also aids in the formation of bone, hemoglobin, and red blood cells. (Note: excessive intake of copper can lead to toxicity, which has been linked to numerous health problems).

Chromium (Polynicotinate)
Is trivalent Chromium, patented by the United States Department of Agriculture. Clinical studies have established that chromium picolinate has an insulin stimulating and binding action. This action has produced a 44% differential lean muscle mass gain over placebo groups, and at the same time body fat was decreased 23% (versus 7% for the placebo group). This ingredient is frequently used in many over-the-counter (OTC) weight loss preparations.

Selenium (Amino Acid Chelate)
Selenium is an essential ultra trace dietary nutrient. Selenium helps to protect your body from toxic substances, protects against heavy metal toxicity, (especially mercury), cadmium, may reduce the incidence of mortality from cancer, help prevent cardiovascular disease, & support immune function. Adequate selenium levels may inhibit HIV transcription & consequently delay the onset of AIDS.

Potassium (Gluconate)
Potassium is an important mineral used in various bodily functions. It is an important factor in the maintenance of the body's acid-base balance and nerve condition, as well as the transfer of nutrients through cell membranes. Potassium is found in a number of foods, including dairy, fish, and other meats, fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Because food processing reduces the levels of naturally occurring nutrients in foods, supplementation may be necessary to insure adequate intake.

Boron (Sodium Borate)
Studies indicate that boron may contribute to the way that calcium, a vital building block of bone, and other minerals are processed by the body. Boron appears to increase the amount of calcium absorbed from food and lower the amount excreted by the body. These effects may help to keep bones strong. Boron may also improve mental functioning, strengthen the immune system, boost energy utilization, and affect cholesterol production.

Plant Source Ionic Trace Minerals:
Many people don’t realize how vital minerals are to overall health, and yet every living cell in existence depends on minerals for proper structure and function. The human body needs minerals for the proper composition of body fluids, healthy nerve function, the formation of blood and bone, muscle tone, sugar metabolism, weight control, energy production, growth, and healing. Minerals are also essential for the proper utilization of vitamins and other nutrients, and are necessary for all enzyme activity. Some minerals, although necessary for good health, are only needed in very small amounts. These are called trace elements.

Vanadium (Sulfate)
Vanadyl sulfate has been shown to normalize blood glucose levels and reduce glycosylated hemoglobin levels in patients with non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM). Also in NIDDM patients, vanadium sulfate (100 mg per day – a HUGE dose) can reduce fasting glucose levels by about 20% and decrease hepatic insulin resistance. Normal (nondiabetic) subjects typically do not exhibit a significant change in glucose uptake or lipolysis, but vanadyl sulfate may acutely stimulate amino acid transport into skeletal muscle.

It is necessary for the formation of the skin, which aids in the recovery from burns and surgical operations. Hair and skin are made up 10-14% Cystine.

Other Ingredients:

Aloe Vera:
Aloe Vera has been used by mankind for several thousand years and over the centuries there have been many references to Aloe Vera in many cultures: from the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans, as well as in the literature of the Indian and Chinese peoples. Several famous physicians such as Pliny the Elder, Dioscorides and Galen, the father of modern medicine, who first described how the circulation worked, all used Aloe Vera as part of their therapeutic armoury.
An exceptional healing plant with an extensive history of use covering 18 centuries. World-wide, there exist hundreds of species of this succulent, yucca-like plant, but those most often used are Aloe barbandensis, Aloe perryi, Aloe ferros, and the ever-popular houseplant Aloe Vera, whose fresh leaves can serve as an effective treatment for minor burns, abrasions and cuts. Aloe Vera gel, derived from the “mucilaginous cells” contained inside the leaves, is widely used in a variety of forms such as lotions, moisturizers, cosmetics, and shampoos. Aloe powder, derived from the tough outer leaf of the plant, is a strong 'cathartic' consumed internally as a cleanser, and often touted as a treatment for a variety of conditions ranging from liver disease to AIDS. Clinical evidence supports many of the health claims attributed to Aloe Vera. Researchers have found that fresh Aloe gel promotes wound healing by speeding up the growth of skin cells and aiding recovery from surgery. Aloe has also proved effective in treating pressure sores, chronic leg ulcers, and frostbite. Aloe Vera has also been shown to have strong antibacterial and antifungal properties against a broad range of microbes. Carrisyn, an extract of aloe, has shown recent evidence of being able to inhibit a number of viruses 'in-vitro', including the strains responsible for herpes simples, measles, and HIF. Carrisyn appears to work by stimulating the immune system to trigger the production of T cells, thereby increasing immune function. Other active ingredients of the Aloe plant include 'salicylates', which control inflammation and pain, and an enzyme that inhibits 'bradykinin', the chemical messenger responsible for transmitting pain signals through the nerves. Aloe also contains 'magnesium lactate', a chemical known to inhibit the release of histamines responsible for skin irritation and itching.

Crystalline Fructose:
Crystalline fructose is an all natural sweetener and results in lower blood glucose levels after ingestion, it has long been considered the preferred sweetener for individuals with diabetes and other insulin-related problems

Citric Acid:
It is responsible for the tart taste of various fruits in which it occurs, e.g., lemons, limes, oranges, pineapples, and gooseberries. It can be extracted from the juice of citrus fruits and it is used as a natural preservative.

Malic Acid:
Malic acid, an alpha-hydroxy organic acid, is sometimes referred to as a fruit acid. This is because malic acid is found in apples and other fruits. It is also found in plants and animals, including humans. In fact, malic acid, in the form of its anion malate, is a key intermediate in the major biochemical energy-producing cycle in cells known as the citric acid or Krebs cycle located in the cells' mitochondria.

Natural flavors:
All natural flavoring

Potassium Benzoate:
Potassium Benzoate is the potassium salt of benzoic acid. Potassium Benzoate is used as a food preservative. Potassium benzoate offers an alternative to sodium benzoate for products that require low-sodium content. Potassium benzoate may applications be employed in a wide range of preservative because of its antimicrobial action and low taste. It is most suitable when used in foods and beverages with a pH of 4.5 and below and is not recommended for use when the pH exceeds 4.5.The lower the pH level, the greater the effectiveness.

Potassium Sorbate (Preservative)
Potassium sorbate is a polyunsaturated fatty acid salt. Potassium sorbate is used to inhibit molds, yeasts, and fungi in many foods, such as cheese, wine, and baked goods. It is the potassium salt of sorbic acid.

Xanthan Gum:
The backbone of Xanthan gum is similar to cellulose, but the trisacharide side chains of mannose and glucuronic acid make the molecule rigid, and allows it to form a right-handed helix. These features make it interact with itself and with other long chain molecules to form thick mixtures and gels in water.
